Whatever kind of meeting or gathering you’re looking to hold whether it be a family celebration, wedding reception or corporate meeting or you just want to get together with a group of friends, The Travellers Rest is the perfect venue.
The pub/restaurant is available for booking as a whole and thanks to our rural location, parking isn’t a problem and we have ample room for marquees of up to almost limitless size should the need arise.
If you fancy arriving in style, we have our own helicopter pad which has capacity for two helicopters at any one time and if you prefer to arrive by car, our car two parks have a capacity of well in excess of 100.
CELEBRATIONS & CORPORATE FUNCTIONS
Dependant upon the size of your party, either the whole or part of the pub can be booked. During the daytime when our restaurant isn’t being used, this can be converted into the ideal corporate meeting environment offering peace, tranquility and privacy. At night times, it can also be used for large group bookings and other celebrations.
Needless to say that with any booking, fabulous food is guaranteed and our chef, Garry Saunders can tailor make a menu or buffet to suit your individual requirements and numbers.
We do require that as much notice as possible is given for room reservations as we do get extremely busy and don’t like to have to disappoint.
WEDDING RECEPTIONS
Over the years we have played host venue to some simply fantastic weddings (straight & gay) that have all been totally unique and individual. Because we have so much space, marquees can be erected, rooms decorated and cars easily parked. No wedding at The Travellers Rest is ever considered to be standard.
We work with the wedding party to ensure that every detail of their special day is delivered and our staff are experience in making sure that everything goes as smoothly as possible.
